How to "lean out" A/F - only on cold startup Car has a dyno tune, and when I start the engine up (cold start only), it seems to be overly rich and runs very rough for a minute or two. Then, it smooths out nicely.
So my question. How can I slightly lean out only, the cold start-up A/F conditions?

Might there be a safe way to go reduce fuel in certain "areas" that only affect OL idle? Maybe certain cells?
What software are you using? you do want it a little rich on startup like a choke on a carb, but not so rich as you described.

Look at the MAP values at idle with your scan tool. That is the mail part of the Open Loop Air/Fuel table you want to lower the numbers, and at the RPM you are seeing. Should be part of a dyno tune. Should be seeing no black smoke.
