Default Upgrades to help LT4 live a long life
I'm doing a LT4 swap and am interested in upgrades to fix common problems with latest generation LT4s.

I'm actually not that informed on issues with the LT4. I just picked the highest hp oem motor I could get from gm. I almost picked a ls until I looked closer at the new lt engines.
So please school me on the issues they have and what could help resolve them.
The one upgrade I will be doing for sure is a aftermarket drysump system.
Later on I will be wanting mods to get greater power levels with a stock bottom end thoughts on the power the stock bottom end can handle and for how long would be good info as well.

I just noticed this section is for the older LT motors. No wonder it's not getting much attention. Sorry I posted in wrong section.

No you posted in the "LT1-LT4 Modifications" section. You are in the correct section..
But what year LT4 are you referring to..?

But what year LT4 are you referring to..?
He has a new crate LT-4... supercharged 650hp. In no way related to our LT4 other than it is an ICE made by GM.

Unfortunately, I do not see one either. Also, I got crap for posting about a Corvette with a LT4 here because apparently it is only for B-Body and F-Body. In short I was told to take my corvette and go to a corvette forum.
