Default Those who deleted power steering and looped lines

Long story short. Did power steering delete looped my lines together but still left fluid inside.. around turns i get a whine sound still.. did anyone have that issue when they deleted yours.. eventaully going to a manaul rack but wanted to see if others had a issue like that afterwards

I had mine looped when I had it on a run stand and it never whined,maybe it still has air trapped in the pump.

i dont know what i should do.. should i maybee drain all the fluid out

Never had a problem with mine. Been that way for years. I did drain all the fluid I could get out of it though.

did leave ports open or seal them

First of all - why exactly is the pump still on the car if it’s not connected to the rack? Are you serious right now? Take the pump off and get an idler pulley. Jesus.

I just left the fluid in and looped the lines, mine never made a whine. Not a huge difference in power to manual. Ive had the midwest chassis and discontinued rack doctor manual rack
