1/10 mile speed
Were you going ***** out from a start? Just take a look at peoples time slips from the Track. You can use the 1/8 mile MPH and reduce by a bit.. Remember,,, the car will accelerate at a much greater rate at lower speeds,, IE 20-40 quicker than 40-60 etc,,
Come to think of it,,, I think a 14 second car can be at 70MPH+ within a 1/8 of a mile,, so yes it is very possible.
You can't do that. The car accelerates at a much faster rate at lower speeds. Say you trap at 100mph in the 1/4 You arent at 50mph in the 1/8 more like 75-80. So the first 1/8 mile you get up to 75mph,, then the next 1/8 you only add 25mph.

If he can run even 78 mph in the 1/8 then he should roughly be able to go 53 mph in 330 feet. That gives him 198 feet to gain 9 more mph's.
So physically I think he could do it because he would still be in second gear. But, like you said we don't know if he was on it hard or not. JMO.
