Single plane intake Lt1 efi
1) Run a LT1 specific carb style intake and convert to fuel injection either via injector bungs and run an lt1 style throttle body. You will need to tune the stock PCM for the single plane.
2) Run a converted sbc to lt1 single plane intake with EFI bungs already installed and aftermarket rails. If you run an aftermarket EFI such as Holley or Fast you can convert to a normal sbc distributor and eliminate the opti.
I am running a converted sbc Accel pro ram EFI intake, rear mount MSD distributor, crank trigger, 4 bbl throttle body, and FAST XFI.
AFAIK, there is no way to do this without modifying parts.
You either modify a EFI ready SBC gen intake for the bolt pattern, or you modify the crappy LT1 single plane for injector bungs.
If you do not have a cam that requires really high RPM, a big shot of juice or a big *** blower that is moving a lot of air, you are wasting your time and money on a single plane.
