Default Is this a stock GM LT1 piston?

I tore my engine apart for a rebuild and when I removed the pistons I saw they had the design below on them. It just doesn't seem like something that would be on a stock piston from the factory and I'm wondering if somebody has already been inside my engine. Anyone know who made these and if they're stock?

Thanks

That logo appears to match the one used for Sealed Power, Speed Pro pistons as seen at this site: http://www.sealedpowervintage.com/product/pistons/

Can I assume that would not have been OEM on a 1997 LT1?

As stated, that's a sealed power piston and absolutely not factory.

You also might want to measure/check to see if your engine is still stock bore.

Yeah, that’s the main reason I was asking about the pistons. I bought new parts for my car not knowing anything had been done internally. If somebody bought new pistons, it only makes sense that they bored it too.

Should tell you on the piston itself, mine do at least. Check the top of the piston. What does everything else look like?

Looks like you have an aftermarket H beam rod too. Also looks to be full floating as far offset as the rod is. Does it have spiral locks holding the pins in place on the side of the pistons? Possibly lucked into a 6" rod 383. Take a pictire of the rod, the piston with the pin side showing, and the block near the bottom of the bores and pan rail. If the block has been ground there is a great chance you have a 383 or even 396 LT1 on your hands.

FWIW this is what my 6" rod 383 Vortec bottom end looks like. Before I catch grief I have all the stock 4-bolt main 1-ton vortec main cap bolts and studs on the way to fit the long Milodon windage tray I have for this. The aftermarket H beams I have use a 7/16 12 point socket to remove the bolt. Stock rods use a 6 point nut on a stud. Also notice the grinding in the pan rail area for the rod bolts to clear.

I’ll check but because of how this car ran (14’s in the 1/4) and what I’ve found as I’ve torn it apart, I highly doubt I have a 383. It’s more likely they damaged the previous pistons/bearings and did a cheap rebuild.

Nevermind,I just blew the picture up on the desktop computer rather than my phone. On my phone the rod looked like a H-beam. On the desktop it looks like a standard rod. The lighter color stripe on the rh side of the rod in the picture was playing optical illusions to my brain.
