O2 Sensor Recommendations for Long-Tube Headers? Hey guys, I recently had an O2 sensor go out on my Firebird, reading very lean and making the engine buck and shake at idle. I replaced it with a Bosch from O'reilly's as it was the only fix I could get quickly, and it doesn't seem to be the right sensor for the application. I have an AFR gauge tapped into the left bank O2 (the one I replaced) and it usually shows running rich at startup which transitions into a swinging lean-rich cycle a couple of times a second. On startup, this sensor doesn't even register on the gauge it reads so lean, and doesn't start to approach stoich. until the engine's been on for a few minutes. In the meantime, the engine runs like hot garbage until the sensor warms up. So is there a sensor I should or shouldn't get? I noticed on Rockauto that the Bosch sensor was the only one offered for the car that didn't have a "perforated cylinder" styled sensor end. Is this just the wrong sensor for the application and it's not labelled properly? I ordered a Denso as a more permanent solution, planning to take the Bosch back. Any thoughts?
