Lt1 Turns off while running He guys’d I bought a 97 transam lt1 it's cause mine I changed the fuel pump and started and ignition coil and fuel filter well it's runs fine and everything but when the check gages light turns on the car turns off automatically and it takes a while to turn on or I gotta wait or keep on trying but once it takes off check gauges it turns on, I need help putting to much into this car .
You sure the check guages light comes on before the car dies, or after? It's possible you have a bad ignition module, or the fuel pump you have is bad. You need to check your fuel pressure and see what's happening when it dies. If you have fuel pressure it's quite possible the ignition module is bad. There are many 'how to's' on the internet as well as here to check fuel pressure and test coil and ICM:
