97 lt1 keeps turning off

He guys’d I bought a 97 transam lt1 it's cause mine I changed the fuel pump and started and ignition coil and fuel filter well it's runs fine and everything but when the check gages light turns on the car turns off automatically and it takes a while to turn on or I gotta wait or keep on trying but once it takes off check gauges it turns on, I need help putting to much into this car

Check for antifreeze/water in the engine oil....it would be looking like sour chocolate milk.

When my car did this several years back, I had a blown head gasket.
