LS Swap into LT chassis Hey guys, first thread post here. Ive got a 95 Camaro Z28, ive got pretty much everything covered for the LS to go in, but what im not exactly understanding is how im going to be able to keep all of my interior functions. i will be buying a standalone harness and matching pcm and fuse box, but i dont understand how i will be able to keep everything on the interior working such as gauges, HVAC Power seat, windows etc. because all of those are powered by the bulkhead connectors that go through the firewall and plug into the stock LT1 pcm if im not mistaken. i Understand the standalone and pcm is for the operation of the powertrain, just not understanding the interior aspect.Any information would be greatly appreciated!
All the BCM stuff is controlled seperate from the PCM. I have an lt1 car that has been SBC swapped, no computer at all, lights, HVAC, mirrors, etc all work. You'll need a way to trigger the ac compressor, and then you'll have to figure out how to get the gauges to read but I'm sure it's been done, check out lt1swap .com
I didn't put an LS engine into my 94 but I did swap over to LS engine management. It's been a while but for the gauges to work I used hptuners to change 2 numbers for the tach and speedo so they would read accurately. Otherwise everything worked just fine.
