Replacement Harmonic Balancer for 97 Firehawk M6 LT1

My harmonic balancer will need to be replaced as the rubber is starting to stick out.

I was looking at getting something that's OE replacement and saw on Rock Auto they have ATP 102056 {#12551138} OE Replacement Balancer. It says it has a lifetime warranty so I assume this would be sufficient.

Would there be any other harmonic balancer suggestions or recommendations?

It is for a 97 Forumla Firehawk LT1 M6

That should work fine. Also, it's a damper unless for some reason your engine has been externally balanced on the front.

I wouldn't mind spending little extra on something better. If there is one that's better quality than OEM and gives a few extra HP with stock setup. Maybe down the road I may do a couple of minor bolt ons.

Is the ATI balancer damper part number ATI 917274 for my application?

I also heard of Jegs & Assault Racing balancers if anyone has any feedback on them.

I may consider getting the Assault Racing ARD 8000170.

It comes with the hub and price is reasonable.

Any benefits to using the Assault Racing balancer / damper over an OEM one?

What kind of RPM are you going to be turning and for how long will you be in that upper rpm range? If you are going to be in the 6 to 7K range while rowing gears at the drag strip the one you listed should be just fine.
