Terminator X, TH conversion on a 93, gathering info
We were going to do the TH 411 conversion, but as I suspected, 93 isn't supported due the chip PCM and wiring harness differences.
So I'm thinking about doing Holley EFI and use the TH crank/cam setup instead.
I've googled it and found a really good video on YouTube from a guy who did it.
It seems like a relative easy conversion. Has anyone done it?
Thanks for the info.
1) to have two harnesses lay on the motor, and buy a dakota digital conversion for holley tach out to drive factory speedo
2) make a custom harness strictly for dash, and buy a dakota digital conversion for holley tach out to drive factory speedo
3) Buy the EFIconnection kit that makes a custom harness for running holley and stock cluster
Or, spend the coin and grab a holley dash and remove factory cluster all together.

If everything goes straight to the cluster.
1. Why do I need two harnesses laying on the motor?
2. It can't take that much to run a dash on a 93
3. Their stuff is nice but seem extremely overpriced, but if I was doing it, I would charge a lot too.
This 93 can't be that much different than my 89.
Maybe I'm missing something.
I'm not being a dick, maybe I am actually missing something.
So you need to make a new harness that will grab oil pressure, temp, and voltage if you want to have the factory cluster work. Otherwise you are stuck with using the factory harness for that stuff and laying the holley harness on top of it to run motor.

I gotcha. I wasn't thinking about at the wires for the sending units as a harness.
