Default L99 blocks

Curious about these blocks. From reading factory blocks had a 3.736 bore & a 3” stroke. Can anyone confirm if the blocks are structured the same just with more meat in the walls?! If so I would think it would make sense to build a boosted setup & throw in a longer stroke crank. 🤔

From my understanding, they are a Gen II version of the 305 block, meaning that they are not a 5.7 block with extra thick cylinder walls to provide a smaller bore.

Not sure on wall thickness either on these blocks, but I have read where others have used a LT1 crank and rods with the L99 pistons to create a "305" with factory parts.
