Help with P0011 code

Help with P0011 code Hi, I'm sorta new to the LT1 scene. I just got a 96 Trans Am with 50k miles. It has an engine code for ignition too far advanced. I cant seem to find any information on this code for the trans am. Only VVT cars. It has a slight misfire, but runs alright otherwise. I plan on replacing the Coil, Plugs, Wires, 02 Upstreams (just because I like to do thorough maintenance on used cars). Why would I get this code? From what I understand it might have an MSD Opti but I'm not sure. Would this be a timing chain issue or the Opti? Thank you for any help.

I think you need to have a different brand scanner pull the codes. I think Autozone will scan it for free. I'm not sure what scanner they will use, but hopefully it will be a different brand. Are you sure you are using the scanner correctly?

According to my research, the reason this code is so rare is because only 95-96 had it. Apparently it has a crank sensor as well as the Opti. But I'll try another scanner.

Dang. I wasn't doubting you, I'm just saying this is apparently a super rare occasion. That explains why I cant find any information on here though, damn code isn't real. Thanks for the input.

No offense taken here. I think it boils down to the scanner not interpreting the codes right....which I've read of several times over the years(from various scanners). It could be other issues.....but I'd chase the scanner angle first.
