Default Piston recommendations

So, rebuilding a 96 LT1 engine. Nothing crazy, 4-450 hp goal. Doing LE stage 1 port job, was gonna do a cc503 cam but will talk with LE about that. Plan on the upgraded TB, injectors and ecm tune, yadda yadda😀
Question: recommendations on a mid price point forged piston? How are DSS? Using stock rods, crank, all with ARP bolts/ main studs. Thanks!

4-450 crank horsepower? Or at the tires? And if it's at the tires, A4 or M6?
LE1/cc503 might be a little shy of 400whp without some help. Like a ported intake, larger TB, 1.7 rockers, EWP, high CR, etc. might just barely get you there. I would opt for one of Lloyd's cams though.

I'd suggest a 4032 forged piston if you don't have any plans for spray/boost. The 2618's will be noisier and won't last as long in a street motor. I recommend Mahle powerpaks because they're pretty light and have a thin, more modern ring pack with less friction. I'm sure the DSS stuff would be fine too assuming it's the right alloy (they make both) and reasonably light.

Why forged?

Stock would be light and work fine if you have no intention of spraying/boosting

Already have: 1.7 rr, #30 lb injectors, A4, 3.73rear. This motor is going in a light street rod. 98% street with the 2-3 times a year at the Street Night drag strip. Occasional single 125 shot of giggle juice: I have MSD box and window switch. I was leaning towards the DSS FX series pistons?
