Is it possible to replace the old alarm key fob?
Probably, but it looks like it's an aftermarket fob, possibly one that came with an alarm system. Might want to browse the aftermarket alarm supplier's sites, and see if one looks similar.
Key fob from another GM car with the functions you need like door lock, lock alarm set, unlock and hatch opener buttons, panic button. I found another fob in a pick your part lot, I replaced the battery, followed the programming instructions for the firebird I have, which states to remove the radio fuse, and while you’re “inside the car” hit the lock button, the doors will unlock, lock and unlock. You then replace the radio fuse and you’re good to go.

you could always find it on Ebay or offer up, craigslist, etc. for a reasonable price. Oreilly auto parts/autozone carries new cases for these so you can have clear/new buttons too.

I dunno. Unless you understand how these things are wired you may just have to take it to a reputable stereo/alarm shop and have them take it out/option to put an aftermarket alarm in?
