Im helping old friend with a 1957 pickup has a 1995 lt1 in it it starts runs for a 1min then shut down iv tired all the site tricks but no go

 

It's possible it's from VATS, or Vehicle Anti-Theft System. It can either be tuned out or use a resistor on a wire to from the ignition. This has something about these swaps where VATS does not get along. I can't remember why. More info here:

thank you for reply. it was fuel pump some one put a 100 psi pump on it got new one 60psi run great , tks again from 2 old fellows were both 77years old
