Default New Member intro

Hey guys,

First post so i figured i'd intro myself here as well as a few of the other forums.... My name is Jason Brisson and I live out in California...Been a member of Norcal LS1/LT1 for about 5 years and been racing my LT1 camaro since 1995.... currently running a 355 built LT1 on the bottle. It's run a best of 10.40@131... The car has DFI on it as well as a TH400 and has gone thru about three different configurations... Currently my motor is out since I'm stepping it up big time and building a long rod 383 (6" h-beams) and going all out with weight savings as well as fuel system to run the 300 jets in my TNT system (10.40 was with a 150 shot and 3550 lbs raceweight)... Now car should be looking like 3200lb raceweight and signifigantly more hp....

So hopefully I'll have something to add to the tech discussions as well as trying to make some of the national events very soon since I bought a truck and a trailer recently.

Thanks man... Yeah I've just never gotten on here cause I was doing all the local board stuff (Norcal) but after a while I noticed this is where the world's fastest f-bods hang out and shoot the ****.... Since I wanted to start making national events and start running heads up in the Outlaw classes I figured getting to know the guys here would be a good start. Alot of people have seen my car on fasttrackperformance.com and bmrfabrication.com but other than those two sights and the local stuff I'm little known nationwide... 10.40 is only the tip of the iceberg.... the car has gotten alot crazier in the last couple of months.... I'll most likely be having a video of either a deep 9 second pass or putting it on the bumper and hurting something...

I'm not sure what class this guy ran in but I know he runs nationally in the IHRA. He has a 96 Camaro with a n/a LT1. When I saw saw him run a 6.2 1/8 mile I had to find out what he did to the motor. Stock displacement and the cam must have no more than stock lift but all the duration you want. This car was AWESOME. I did see see he had a sticker on it that he held the current top speed record. But I didn't get his name. This was at Ohio Valley Raceway on a T&T night. And he still retained all the b/s stuff: MAF, IAT, EGR...it was wild

Fastest LT1 NA is Joe Overton.... I forget what he runs in the 1/8 mile but the car goes 9.50ish@142 in the quarter on motor alone... 388 ci stroker motor.... He did most of my DFI tuning when I built my 355 and I might have him grind me a cam for the new 383.....
