Default Camshaft Troubles

Currently building my first LT1 for my 1995 trans am. I just received the gm846 cam I purchased but it has no hole for an opti and a short dowel pin. My fault for not making sure it was for an lt1

Does anyone have a decent cam like the 846 or 503 that they are wanting to part with?

Quick easy fix for a machine shop.

Is it for a roller engine at least? The snout will be stepped to accept a cam plate. As stated, take it to a machine shop and take your opti with you so they have a reference.

I may just end up doing this. Apparently I started my project at the worst time because every Comp Cam is back ordered and will have to be special ordered.

95 got the vented opti, you should only need the longer dowel. Super easy fix.
