Optispark vacuum hose!! Almost ready to put the engine back in the car, currently figuring out manifold vacuum lines. Are there any negative consequences to just running vacuum lines from the opti without the filter/check valve? So far I'm unable to find this part online.

I don't see why not, the 96 motor (vented opti) in my 93 doesn't have the vacuum line. It's just vented out to the atmosphere in the engine bay. Someone hopefully chimes in with expertise. Otherwise I figure it's acting similar to an unvented opti with the 3 tiny vents on the bottom of the opti housing venting to the atmosphere. This way it isn't sucking crap in from a vacuum port i.e. oil and gunk on the off chance.
The opti vent works off of vacuum from the bellows, it shouldn't have and doesn't need hard pulling intake vacuum. The valve is a one way, it prevents reverse vacuum (slight as it may be from the spinning of the opti) from pulling air out of the intake tract.
Not running the vacuum purge especially on a daily driver in a damp environment will lead to spark failure. That is the reason it was incorporated beginning in 95.

Don’t want normal blow-by stuff going into the opti. Better to run vacuum and a check valve.
Actually from the intake. Bellows line is to draw filtered air, and like you said, keeps moisture out of the air along with ozone.
