Default 1992 corvette. Looking to add a performance camshaft

Hi, I have a ‘92 six speed I’m doing a lot of work on, which includes removing hood/condenser/rad. I also have to do my opti. I figure while I’m in there, I’d like to install a cam. I’m mainly looking for recommendations, as well as advice. Having never done head work, my initial thoughts are as follows-replace rocker arms, (studs too? Will 1.6 rockers clear stock valve covers?) lifters, pushrods. I’d consider the LE2 kit, but I don’t really want to pull the heads, as I’ve heard stock are fine. I also don’t want a ton of downtime having my heads redone. I will eventually get headers and a proper tune as well. I also have zero clue what any of the cam specs mean. I’m (as mentioned before) looking for something that can be street driven, but isn’t too close to stock. Any help would be appreciated.

I like the hatermaker stage 1 cam. It's a great cam for stock heads. Tick sells it all as a kit.

Scorpion rocker arms clear stock f-body valve covers, so I think they would be for corvettes too.
