Scoggin Dickey performance sells a new 355 short block for 1795 and a new 383 short block for close to 4000...this is all new mind you...new block and no core charge. All forged internals and choice of compression ratio...not sure on the number off the top of my head....check sponsors>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>over there!!!

For the cut out...put it after your y pipe merges...either after or before the flange to the catback!

you want the cutout as far down the i-pipe as possible. the exhaust flow will be able to smoothen out in time and exit the exhaust cutout with less turbulanece this way. Most individuals place the cutout right infront of the bend in the i-pipe that goes over the rear axle.
