I was there before I was here, never liked it much. There is some good tech info but it's awfully small. As far as I know, it's still up. Then again, I haven't checked in months.

Yeah.. I'm registered at LT1tech but haven't checked it forever. I was on there before here as well but, just saw that there was alot more traffic on here that kept me occupied enough not to look elsewhere very often.

Is there like a forthgen.org or anything just for 4th gen birds/camaro's. I went to thirdgen.org when i had my 89, and was the best car forum i've been on. I want a forum where its by generation and not what engine is in the car.

Not to mention all the suspension/drag race tech ect that this site has, but people still make those kinds of threads in this forum where they will get 1/100th the exposure if they put it in the right spot.

Default lt1 swap question, fuel line

I'm doing an lt1 swap (96 c4 lt1 into 80 c3). Anyone have any part names and numbers for high pressure fuel lines setup.

1) steel hard line, 3/8 compression to 3/8 barb hose line

2) steel hard line, 3/8 compression to 1/4 steel hard line

For #1, I bought this one then found out its for carb setup and it'll leak with 60psi:
http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...2B13%2B1147708

can come up with any part numbers for #2?

I called jegs to see if the had a 1/4 to 3/8 compression union and the tech said that one I bought is only good for 25psi and would leak if I was running anything higher

Found this one, wasn't sure if others are using them

No I meant how did you dig up an 11 year old thread about an old website that isn't active anymore to ask a question about fuel lines?

Start a new thread, and you will get more responses. This one should be locked.
