Default Want to lower Compression

I want to lower the compression ratio from 10.4, by using new heads, but what ratio will I get with what bigger cc chamber. 64cc, 68cc, 72cc, any cc?
I think the LT1 stock are 54 or 58 or something.

Supercharging it.

I am still running the stock cr and i have never had anyproblems. You will only have a problem if you are going to run high levels of boost. Im only running 8psi intercooled.
I do not know the awnser to you question on how the heads will change it.

The larger the chambers...the lower the compression ratio. I don't know the exact formula for how to get it to give you an exact number either. But yeah that's how the cc's of the chambers affect CR.

You can also swap to thicker head gaskets. And pistons, of course.

I don't want to touch the bottom end it's a bone stock 95 Z28 LT1 with only 22K on it. I want to get down as close to 9:1 as I can get, leaving almost the rest of the entire engine stock...then add a ProCharger with about 12PSI for use with pump swill. I'm hoping for around 500HP at the crank on 92-94 grade.
