well first thing i want to know, is where to get a nice exsuast system with a good sound, for not allot of money.

Second thing, where can i get a cheap polished C.A.I

Second i have my nitrous kit im gonna install it here pretty soon, my V6 mustang took a 100 shot Wet from a NX kit

ill be useing the same type of system on the T/A the engine has a 120k on it as does the tranny 700r4, what do you guys recoment i start out with on the nitrous?

how well does the fuel pump flow, will i lean out with my nitrous on a 100shot on the stock pump?

i need to know some place to get preformance parts for not a allot of $$$$

Are there any trick of the trade for these cars?

is there anything that works on a ls1 that also works on an lt1?

secondly inotice everybody running tranny coolers on the 700, is there a specfic reason for this, other then the fact cooler is better.

The opti spark is it a do it your selfer project (i fairly well versed with cars)

What size is my rear end? 8.8? (i know thats a ford number)

Anything i should keep an eye on , something that tends to break easier then the rest.

Well lets see here....for your exhaust...that sounds good and is cheap...I would go SLP Loudmouth...it sounds real good and is relatively inexpensive. For the polished CAI...noone that I know makes the actual cold air kit...however you can get the elbow that goes to the throttle body polished from trick flow or vortech. Look in jegs for that. Most people run the tranny cooler cuz they have a stall or just want to be cooler. As for the LS1 parts fitting the LT1....no motor parts are interchangeable....however most suspension is. For the nitrous you should be good up to 125 ish providing the motor is in good running condition. You may want to install an inline fuel pump or adjustable fuel pressure regulator to be safe. Just start the shot small and work your way up. And finally the biggest bang for your buck goes like this....Stall, gears..3.42 or 3.73's, Cold Air kit (moroso or similiar), Cat-back exhaust, nitrous, subframe connectors and misc suspension mods, Sticky tires.

1. Go with a Hooker catback.
2. SLP makes a sexy CAI
3. The LT1 will take it fine
4. Spray anything you want up to 100, it should be fine.
5. You should be fine on a 100-shot
6. Check the sponsors (I personally recommend Thunder) ====>
7. Just stomp the gas pedal
8. There are a number of things, but no engine components. Just drivetrain stuff. The LS1 and LT1 are two completely different motors.
9. You said it yourself- cooler is better. The cooler your tranny is, the longer it lives.
10. Sorry, but I don't understand what you're asking.. replacing the opti-spark is pretty DIY, if that's what you meant.
11. Your rear is the weak point of the F-bodies- 7.5" 10-bolt. My advice: Don't run slicks, and don't mod the drivetrain until you replace it with another unit.
12. The rear and the opti-spark. That's pretty much it. LT1s are pretty stout and can take a lot of abuse.

Depending how radical you wanna go...2800 at a minimum...i mean why do the swap if your gonna go small right? up to 4000plus for serious performance. I would do something right around 3000 for good performance and street manners. Don't forget to pick up the tranny cooler and shift kit with this...cuz while the tranny is out might as well get her chirping gears nicely. Sorry about the above comment either...i was just reading and its dark so i was gettin impatient.

I wouldn't go with anything stickier than drag radials. Slicks will no doubt kill the 10-bolt.

I personally hate the SLP LM. Not my type of exhaust at all. I'd rather have a quieter exhaust with a great tone than a deafening exhaust with no tone and lots of rasp.
