I'm getting ready to get a custom exhaust made and I was looking for opinionts. What i want to do it get long tube headers and run 3" pipes from the collectors into 3" Magnaflow (CarSound) cats, into a 3" X-pipe, then straight out. I was wondering what my muffler options would be, and how bad it would be without them. I'm not really looking for gains right now, just want to get an exhasut on there. There is a 3 1/2" cat-back on there now, but it has the turn down pipes which i dont like, and it's still not true duals. There's something abotu having true duals and headers that just gives you a warm fuzzy feeling inside. Also should i go with 14 gauge aluminum or stainless steel? My shop has done both for me but on different cars so i dont know what would sound better or be better for this car.

When I do my true duals and LT's im gonna go strait through no cats no mufflers. Can't wait to get her running. Moreperformance where are those Kooks LT's.
