Default LS1 Borla on LT1?

Anyone tried installing this exhaust
01-14780 Borla Cat-Back Exhaust System, 1998-2002 LS1 Camaro/Firebird $749.99

Borla adjustable plate exhaust ... on an LT1? I know they make a specific one for LT1s ... but anyone know if it's possible to get mine (LS1 version) to fit on an LT1?

Probably just need to do a little fabbing due to difference in routing of the pipes in the cars. There may not be a difference from the cat on back but I know there is a difference in the front of the cat in regard to the y pipe/collectors between LT1 and LS1 cars.

SLP sells a kit to convert the LS loudmouth to run on the LT. I think it's just one pipe and a few clamps. You would probably only have to fab up that one pipe.

I have the LM on my 93, I didnt need any conversion kit, they just cut in to the I pipe. Also, people sell used Borlas all the time on the boards, why by new? I never bought a new cat back because I always spend half the cost and buy used ones.

the I pipe for a 96 or 96 is the same as a 98 up. The slp kit is just to change the rear hanger brackets.
