SS Airbox or CAI?

SS Airbox or CAI? Which one is the better bang for the buck?..I just recently came into a SS functional hood for my 93 z28...and im debating if i should make the hood live and add the ram air system...or just do the Cold air intake and leave the hood for looks?..i know some of you have some suggestions, so im all ears

If my car was still naturally aspirated, I would be using the SS air box.
I ran it back to back with a K&N fipk, and the SS airbox MPH'd about .5mph better and had lower IAT's. Also made 452rwhp through it.

Bang for the buck would goto the CAI, however if Intmd8 had good numbers from the functional hood.. that route maybe the most beneficial..but I think costs more correct?
What I have always heard is the 90 degree bend in the SS 'ramair' style hood almost negates the purpose.

so are you saying the ss airbox gave you more hp or something..from my understanding, i thought you couldnt see any horsepower gains on an actual dyno from the ram air airbox, it was all theoretical numbers?
hmm, i had just heard the like the FIPK kit and such was better than the stock ram air airbox and was trying to find out if this was true or not. or atleast if there was more to it than the cut and dry.
