Default longtubes / ypipe / cat

I decided I'm going to go with LT's and order them in the next few months. Is there anyway to run long tubes and lets say a hooker y pipe and still have a cat? or will I have to have a custom y pipe fabricated in order to have a cat? Does any company make a Y pipe for LTs that are compatable with a cat? Also if anyone can find pics of an LT1 camaro with long tubes using a cat, I would greatly appreciate it.

thanx for all the help

sure they are out there. im not sure about for hooker long tubes though. what you can do is add random tech cats to an ORY if you cant get a y pipe with cats for the hooker cats.

Your looking at about $779.00 for a set of stainless headers &
$465.00 for a Y with cats ($220.00 for ORY). Very nice set up that will make good hp gains!!

you could always just puit the cat after the y-pipe as well. what cam are you gonna be running. If its the stock cam, you could put a cat really far back and you would pass emissions just fine. If its a fairly radical cam, you will want to put the cat a little closer to the primaries in order for the cats to get hot enough and use the oxygen as a catalyst.
