Thanks for the info Fireturd... now is there any real gain?? Its a lot of money for something like that. I wouldnt want to just take a chance on something that costly.

Here is some good reading. Jeff (Hotrodhawk) has had great luck with it.

The only reason to go with an LT4 intake is if you are going to switch out to LT4 heads. And the only real reason to switch out to LT4 heads is if you are going to port them. I remember reading-and this might have changed by now-that ported LT4 heads would far outflow ported LT1 heads.

The ported LT4s still flow better, but people that set up LT1 heads right, in good set ups, cars run fast as hell. Look at Steve Quinns car.

I will let you guys know how the testing comes out. After the Flow testing I already will build the next one a shade different.
Any more details about your intake and the results you had?

let us all keep in mind that in order to use an LT4 intake you must have LT4 heads.

Default LT-4X Intake

As far as I know this is the only LT-4X intake Steve Quinn has built.

i have done a few ported intakes and sold them, i am pretty happy with mine, nothing like Steve's creation but it works for me nonetheless! i am waiting to hear back from the person i sold my last intake to..i am excited to see what he runs with a set of ported heads as well! i am running .5 sec faster than last year on motor with my modded intake, jesels, and gen 6 dfi being the major changes
