The only reason to go with an LT4 intake is if you are going to switch out to LT4 heads. And the only real reason to switch out to LT4 heads is if you are going to port them. I remember reading-and this might have changed by now-that ported LT4 heads would far outflow ported LT1 heads.

I pick-up the fianal version next week. Have to finish up a heads and cam swap on a 396 to test it......
I will let you guys know how the testing comes out. After the Flow testing I already will build the next one a shade different.

Still working on it. Putting a Distributor hole in it next so I can run a crank trigger distributor and get the High voltage out of the opti

i have done a few ported intakes and sold them, i am pretty happy with mine, nothing like Steve's creation 
but it works for me nonetheless! i am waiting to hear back from the person i sold my last intake to..i am excited to see what he runs with a set of ported heads as well! i am running .5 sec faster than last year on motor with my modded intake, jesels, and gen 6 dfi being the major changes
