Ellis,

Where did ya pick up those K-motion springs?? What the seat pressure for those? They aren't a dual spring are they?

Mike It had been a while on the comp's. I remember when My cranes gave up I just called them and ordered a set of what every they said would live on the CXE cam. They never made it to 6,600

I get my Valve springs(once a year when racing) from Jegs. I have been testing them. I have two seasons and 10K on this set. Shifting at 6,800-7,000...ALOT. when I freashened the heads and added the titainium retainers they were fine.

They list them at 155# closed and 450 open. I want to say we set mine up at 140 closed I forget what open was. they run fine on Hydrolic(sp) rollers.

And YES they are double spring $89.95 a set

Thanks Ellis. So are you running comp retainers then? Reason I ask is because I've considered the 847 cam but the switch to different springs/retainers has kind of kept it from becoming more than a thought in my head. If I could re-use the same comp retainers, it might still be an option. I'm running the comp 987's with my 'baby' cam.
