Default 150 Shot On Lt1??

My buddy has a LT1 and wants to put the juice on it. In order for him to do a 150 shot does he have to upgrade his fuel system and if so, how and what does he need. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Buddy of mine was running a 200 WET shot on a completely stock 96 Fuel system

I wouldn't recommend this for the normal sane though

Should be fine on the stock fuel system. Set it up with a automatic cutoff or do an inline fuel pump if you want to be safest.

I ran a 150 dry shot with just a fuel pump and regulator, It wouldn't be a bad idea, when messing with nitrous you don't won't to cut any edges, do it right the first time or you will learn some hard lessons. Now he probably could do it with a stock fuel system, it has been done alot, but the pump is NOT to expensive I personally would recomend it. Other than that he doesn't really need anything. My 97 vert with bolt-ons and that 150 shot went 11.50s so he should have a hard running car. Remember "Nitrous is like a hot chick with STD's, you want to hit it but are afraid of the concequences" LOL. Whatever he does get that juice on there and start spraying away, you'll never want to stop.

Why you gotta be stealing my quote beotch??? lol...anyways an inline pump is just that...inline...between the fuel filter and the tank....attached to a frame rail or other solid part. Or you could do an intank pump...which requires dropping the tank to install it. Fuel regulator goes inplace of the stock on on the end of the fuel rail.

I had a friend who sprayed 150 on his completely stock engine. He just used a wet kit but the injectors and pump were stock.

My brother runs 150 on his heads/cam LT1 combo. It was bad lean anything above a 100 shot, but changing to a Walbro 340 intank cured all of that.

from having guages, scanmaster, and datamaster and the 150 shot on the pretty much stock setup it was running way lean. especially on the initial hit. with a nx wet kit. so just my $0.02 be safe and get a high volume fuel pump and get some tr6 plugs.

yea but all cars are different. its easier and cheaper to get a fuel pump then a whole motor from skimping
