Hey there, in addition to modding out my 2004 GMC Sierra, I now may soon be given the chance to mod out a 1996 Impala SS. My parents have had theirs since the day it originally rolled off the lot, and they will soon be (in the next few months) be getting ready to pass it down to me, they are getting ready to retire and move out to the country.
The Impala is bone stock and only about 60,000 miles on it. I of course wish to change this, at least exhaust system and cold air intake to start with. I am looking for some good Impala SS references and maybe parts sources.
Thanks in Advance.

Hands down the best source for 94-96 Impala/b-body information. There are some other forums but they are either more local in nature or in at least one case more social, this one has lots of very hardcore tech. There are some good threads about where to get what parts too. I use the same screen name over there, you will see me................................................ ..............often.

Thanks for all the good replys and suggestions guys. I have been dying to dig into this car ever since my dad bought it for my mom. So I guess now, shortly I will be getting my hot little hands on it and am hoping to get some good ideas on how to mod it out.

I looked at your location. There are a lot of guys with these things and well modded at that down in TX. I would highly suggest you try to attend a club gathering before buying a single part. Gets lots of good ideas and talk to people with those parts. Allows you to better educated beforehand and not make mistakes like aftermarket MAFs/handheld tuners/AFPR/or the ever popular "LT4 stuff must be the best/only way to go".
