k & n air intake worth it?

K&N, throttle bod bypass, exaust or dump, pcm for less tuning with a 160 thermostat. then your headers. Dont waste your money on freaking MAF, nor port your own. thats good first engine mods.

[QUOTE=93transam] It doesn't matter how much you pick up it's better then stock and you'll need it down the road. 93's run better then the rest of us so you're already ahead.

What about in conjuction with other mods ie; headers and exhaust. Don't they work as complinents to other mods by allowing the engine to breath better. (im about to purchase a moroso CAI used)

I'm looking into cold air intakes, and the only things that places offer me is the K&N replacement air intake for about $240. The reported HP gain on the site is 18hp, does anyone have any info to support or disuade the use of the intake? Thanks
