H/C or NO2
Okay guys, last month, this month, and all my time (and $$) through novemeber i'm devoting to fixing all the $hit that's wrong with my car (the previous owner kept up on the upkeep, ie oil changes and such, but did nothing about the shocks that squeak, the slipping clutch, etc). Now when it's all up to par, it's coming apart while it's not getting driven this winter. I'm puttin on coated jet hot LT's, and an exhaust guy i know if fabbing me true duals. Now, the motor has 80K on it. For the past few weeks, i've been debating between H/C, and the bottle. I was wondering, what do you guys think would be better? LE1 package vs. an NO2 setup with ALL the safety features. Additionally, which would be better for me considering the relatively high milage of my baby?? Thanks, and sorry for the long-winded post.
Nitrous is definitely gonna be the more hp per dollar option. Installation time will be much less as well. Tuning is relatively nill since you will just be shooting it as needed. Maybe a couple degrees retard, which I would recommend with an igntion box. I don't know anything about your H/C choice but my guess is that a 125 shot is gonna yield more than the H/C. On the flip side, the H/C is always on the throttle and would aid in nitrous use (better flow, etc). Most prefer to go H/C first it seems.
i would probably do the H/C package more. It's always lurking under your right foot....the bottle never goes dry...and a nastly lope is just plain intimidating. I would do that and buy a nitrous system later and shoot for high 10's after u get a 9", some gears and suspension stuff.

950 sounds like a great deal

Lloyd may be the bargain of the H/C world but Advanced Induction is where it's at for the best street and race setups.
Heads and cam is the way to go. You could have a nitrous cam made for your setup if you want to go that way down the road. When you get your heads done you can have them decked to make more compression, as the juice loves compression.

Although, I do also believe that dyno #'s mean nothing, and track times are whats really important. Skinnies, i'm curious here; do you have the LE1 or LE2 heads? By looking at your times, i think it would be safe to say that you have the le2. Anyway, what do all of you guys think about these two options with the 80k on my lt1?? Thanks for the info, keep it coming.

Just by taking a quick look at his webpage, I don't see a single car making 380rwtq(sae) on his site like I am with my baby cam. Not doggin' Phil's packages because they are good, but I think Lloyds packages are just as good and are cheaper.
