Default I've heard of Cam surge.. but this is nuts

While this isnt exactly "cam surge" my car tends to "surge" while in the middle of a WOT run ... It will literally pull 10mph in a split second and then start its slow *** pull again... Kinda crazy! LOL Noticed it the first time while doing a high end run..around 120mph it felt like the hand of god was pushing me..then just kept going normal again.

This whole setup is just pissing me off.. Thinking of just parking it for winter early and try to work all the kinks out when I can.

I don't think what you're expierencing is cam surge. Cam surge happen at lower rpms generally between idle and 1500 rpm or so. With a good tune you can get ride of cam surge. I run a 236-245 115 cms grind cam and before tuning it used to buck like crazy but now it's all gone. But anyway like i said doesn't sound like cam surge, sounds like the cpu is retarding timing. Do you have roller rockers? Normally after a cam install it's a good idea to get a lt4 km to desensitize the knock sensors from the added valvetrain noise.
