two high flow cats VS no cats How much more power is 2 off road pipes going to be vs 2 high flow cats. I have a 95 LT1 car and just did head and cam. I'm running 2 high flow cats right now and was thinking about putting in the off road pipes . I don't want to do this if I'm only going to gain5hp but for 15 maybe the extra noise is worth it. Thanks

High flow cats are worthless. Stock cats do just fine.
Getting rid of your cats won't add power so much as move power in the band. By removing cats, you'll see on a dyno that lowend will drop a bit and topend will raise a bit. It's a miniscule difference, though. I run a cat just because I don't like the way straight-through exhausts sound.

i disagree high flow cats work very well at what they do. so much so that its not worth running an off road y unless you want the added noise. note i wouldnt put high flow cats on a car without headers, but if you have headers of any sort have hi flow cats also
