I believe sdpc2000.com has that kit for $500

$499.95 to be exact, and we have them on the shelf ready to ship. This kit will include the cam shaft, valve springs, retainers, and 1.6 roller rocker arms. You should not need anything else to make this kit work. The only thing I would recomend is to get your computer tuned to get all the benifits of this change. We use Fast Chip, but there are alot of good tuners on this board that I'm sure can help. Call any of us at SDPC or you can pm/ email me if you would like!!

No, not at all. we have a truck that we built a 383 LT4, with ported LT4 heads and a hot cam. It was driven everyday for at least 4 years, and now we just drive it every once in a wile. Long story short it will be just as reliable as a stock engine as long as it's assembled correctly. You could drive cost to cost, and back again with no problems!!
