well,if it is all forged, and the right fuel/ignition system, over 200 shouldnt be a problem. yes i would recommend a seperate tune, but not always needed, especially if you can pull timing with the ignition box.

I would recommend keeping one tune and making sure the fuel enrichment and timing retard are handled completely by the jetting and ignition box, switching tunes all the time results in a lot of time with the computer "relearning" trims, plus every reflash risks pcm lockup, not a big risk but still a hassle and expense if it happens.
Over 200 should not be an issue with a forged rotating assembly, I know of several b-bodies running 175-200 on stock bottomends and one even spraying two stages 200+80 on a stock bottomend. Don't know that I would recommend the 200+ shots on a stock bottom, but if the stock parts can take it forged should be more than capable. Oh and the cars spraying that much are already putting down good NA power with at least ported heads and larger cams, stock heads and cam will not move enough air to make a 200shot work well.

well the heads flow great and the cam is 600+lift, so what would need to be done to the fuel system and how should i adjust the timing, i want at least a 200 shot, maybe 250 if at all possible.thanks guys

I dunno why you would want to put Nitric Oxide in your engine

I hope you have a 12 bolt on the car or have it handy. It's bound to break with all that power.

For a stroker with that big a shot I would consider rebuilding the fuel system with larger lines, Walbro should be able to supply an intank fuel pump, or maybe if replumbing anyway just use an external since I hear the f-body gas tank is a bear to drop(the b-body is easy changed a fuel pump alone in under an hour .

On the spark start with good tables in the pcm then handle the retard with an aftermarket box, I know some guys using the Mallory box, it will also take care of a spark based rev limit(VERY IMPORTANT) and window switch duties as well, at least worth a look, there are other brands you could use too.
