Over 200 should not be an issue with a forged rotating assembly, I know of several b-bodies running 175-200 on stock bottomends and one even spraying two stages 200+80 on a stock bottomend. Don't know that I would recommend the 200+ shots on a stock bottom, but if the stock parts can take it forged should be more than capable. Oh and the cars spraying that much are already putting down good NA power with at least ported heads and larger cams, stock heads and cam will not move enough air to make a 200shot work well.
.On the spark start with good tables in the pcm then handle the retard with an aftermarket box, I know some guys using the Mallory box, it will also take care of a spark based rev limit(VERY IMPORTANT) and window switch duties as well, at least worth a look, there are other brands you could use too.
