If you want 1 7/8 stepped to 2 inch primaries you will have to get custom headers. The kooks headers are 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8 and will set you back the better part of $900.

I will have Kooks in stock soon!! You can go with eather a 1 3/4 x 3 ($779.00) or they have a stepped header...
1 3/4 to 1 7/8 x 3 $869.95
1 3/4 to 1 7/8 x 3 1/2 $869.95

Let me know if I can help!

Gator, The Kook's headers are made using 304 stainless. You'll be running them indefinitely. Our design doesn't need a port plate. The top step is 4-5 inches off the flange and the balance is 1-7/8 with either a 3" or 3-1/2" collector. These headers will easily stand up to 700 plus rwhp on nitrous or blown applications. No, 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 only. But you do have a choice of 3" or 3 1/2" collectors!!

Frans, You live in PA and we're located on Long Island, NY. That makes it a no brainer. Get your ride up to us and we'll custom build you whatever you need. With the vehicle here the skies the limit. Nick "Kook's Headers"

i like that Kooks is making LT1 headers, about time heh.

I really like the step setup, but dont need the extra torque a stepped header will promote. a straight 1-7/8's is what im looking for.

Well, I learned a lot about primary and collector design this year while racing my 622, and I discovered that you can lose power with primary diameters that are either too small or too large, and you can lose power by having a collector that is too long or too short. We finally went to Burns Stainless to get our stuff designed properly.

Dirk, I wouldn't be so concerned about having to deal with additional torque. Take the torque where you can get it and work on the suspension to handle it. I learned this years ago when building my race engine. Nick "Kook's Headers"
