I spun it to 6600 but it was peaking at about 6300... It just kinda held the power(maybe dropped 5-7 hp) till 6600 and then dropped off sharp. Yes it was a M6. I never got it to the track running right. I was out to sea when it was dynoed and when I got back I got a few good passes at the local 1/8th mile. Best was a 7.82@94.9 I think I maybe have had it geared too low. I was gonna get it all worked out on the motor and then add a 200 shot.... Its too bad I never got to. The kid who bought the car from me has already wrecked it and I don't know what his is gonna do with it.

Those numbers are really high for a 383 Stroker. Mine are not nearly that high. Heck my buddies solid roller 396 stroker isn't even getting those numbers. What compression? What is your secret? Also, what rpm does yours make power(peak) up to? Mine was peaking at 5,900 rpms.

My 383 Stroker with Stage 3 heads(LT1) and 236/245/112 cam with my old 6 speed was putting down 392rwhp/380rwtq.

Would there be much of a gain, goin witha cam in the 24x/25x duration, instead of like the rest of the "383" cams, I've been seein'??? And still keep around the same lift #'s, and around a 110 lsa? Just a thought.
