Vince's car went at least a 9.0 with a best mph of I believe 163.xx. It might have gone the 8.80 but I know it went the 9.0. Keep in mind, he was racing in a class (OSCA True Street) unlike all the other guys. He was on DOT (28x12.5 et streets) tires with a max class allowed -4 nos line (300 or so shot max) and probably a heavier weight.

On a real tire with a little bigger shot, he could have easily gone .70's is my guess. His 60ft on his 9.0 pass was something like 1.55!! Now that was one flying LT1!!!

Dang you guys are going to **** off the ORR guys LOL.

To justify. Fastest would be MPH. That would be the ORR crowd(hovering in the low 200s). QUICKEST would be what is covered here.

Just want to be clear because there ARE a few here

I have touched the worlds quickest LT1 many times.. I've even been underneath it..

Every mod, every part Z8's has on his car is the best of the best.. The work done on his ride is second to none. Its one sharp car.

Is that 5th place car Sled Efi a LT1 block. Just wondering because of the throttle body and the non center bolt valve covers.

I don't think Vince's car went 8.80 because when he went 9.0's everyone heard about it and had he gone 8.80's we would have heard about it within 24 hours.

Chris has a website that has a long way to go:
http://ssracing.net/

Chris' car was a cover car on GMHTP but I don't have time to figure out which month it was.
