Should I avoid a Cast crank? If im building a 383 stroker with heads and cam hoping for around 450+hp. Will that cast crank cut it?

Also what is the max compression I can safely run with premium 91 octane fuel?

What exactly is a rotating assembly?

I know it’s a dumb question.

"Rotating Assembly" usually denotes crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons, rings, and bearings...and in the case of those listed, flywheel and balancer.

What he said so basically you would still need main caps and a few minor things for a complete shortblock as well as the machining done to your block APE is having specals right now on lt1 forged short blocks I would give em a call I got a good deal

either one of those setups will work on 91 octane. the cast crank will handle 450 horsepower no problem. its the roms that you will have to wrry about. 6500 will be fine too with the cast crank
