i found in gmpp catalog an lt4 conversion kit that says 425 proven horse. but an lt4 equipped vette is only rated at 330. so are these not the same heads intake and cam that cam on a stock lt4 or are they lying?

actually your wrong.
the kit your looking at has an LT4 hotcam not the factory LT4 cam in there. it will not make 380 at the wheels which is approx 425 flywheel like they say. but itll make good power. and those heads have a lot more potential that what that cam will pull out. also do not do this if your an auto. for whatever reason autos dont have good results doing this conversion.
