Default worth the money?

I went to look at a 94 camaro with my friend today. very clean body and int. here is a list of the mods. rebuilt motor with 600 miles, vortech supercharged 12 psi, 40lb injectors, new fuel pump, edelbrock shorty headers, flow master exhaust, rebuilt 4l60e with yank 3k stall and trans go shift kit, computer is tuned, 3.73 gears, new batt. The guy is asking $7000, but yes there is a catch, the owner said under wot there is a misfire. the cause is unknown and has not tried to be fixed. Is it worth the money to fix?
thanks,
matt

Dont buy some one elses race car, that car needs Long Tubes bad and I doubt the 4L60e will hold up any way. The miss could be a ton of things, o2s, plug, wire, opti, coil, icm, egr, could be a lot of things.

If it is what your friend is looking for it would probably be worth it. I would look into what the motor has been built with to figure out how long its going to last at 12psi. But if you think about it a procharger kit is like 3500 on the low end of the scale, so there is half the asking price.

Buy It Dude, Thats A Cheap Price For All The Stuff That Has Been Done To It. I Paid That Much For My Car And I Would Have Loved If It Would Have Came With A Procharger.

Yea, but in a lot of cases how much is it worth having to go back in to a car and fix some one elses mistakes. I see what your point is and its valid, but it only aplies up to a certain point and to a certain extent. I wouldnt mind buying say a Bolt on car because its hard to mess up a bolt on car. But once you start getting in to real mods, either know thew person selling it personaly or know it was built by a reputable place or person that knew what they were doing. It sucks real bad trying to figure out what the other guy was thinking and redoing his mistakes. Half the time you'll out weigh the cost benefit because your going back in changing so much stuff.
