Clint, sorry it took so long. I am going to use the PTK hot parts with a Precision T76 turbo and fab the rest of the piping myself. I have an OBX FMIC and an alky setup to spray in the trickflow elbow. Should run cold A local guy (Purevil is his username on here) is running an STS with the T70 turbo and he made 630rwhp @ 10psi with his forged 346 LS1 6 speed. He regularly sees 14psi on the street (which should be 700rwhp no problem). You will easily hit that 600rwhp mark with good tuning and about 11-12psi (since you have an auto). His car pulls and its a very clean setup. I was thinking of going that route, but I wanted the ability to make more than 700rwhp if I wanted it.

That means lots and lots of porting, Installing Valve seats. Says runners are the size of straws, Literally!! Id just like to see a pic of what these look like BARE!!
Great numbers though
I cant say how much I got my AFR's for, but they were less than $1000 from a vendor. So even if you buy the bare heads at 1395 + ~970 (porting, valves, locators and seals supplied by Lloyd). That puts you just under $2400 with better numbers than AFR gets (dont forget AFR flows their exhaust with a pipe, thats why they have better numbers on exhaust side. Imagine what the exhaust numbers would look like without a pipe?). Since I got my heads for cheaper than 1000, my cost was just under 2000 and that included my cost for buying springs, retainers and locks seperately. You should be able to get the heads cheaper than 1395 if you shop around.

See my above post for breakdown. With porting, ferrea valves, seals and locators it will cost you around 970. I supplied my springs, retainers, locks.

No not really, I am going to use them on my 357ci LT1 forced induction motor I am having built, but thanks for asking. I bought the heads from HPE when they were running a special a while back. I did send you some pics though.

I'll PM you with price I paid for them but yes, they are bare and ready to go. I wanted to buy them bare and have a real quality port job done on them. I haven't heard a whole lot of good about AFR's port work for what you pay for them. I would rather have it done outside. I just haven't had the cash to get them done yet and I am still shopping for who I am going to have them ported by. I've been focusing on buying the forged internals for the short block.

I am definitely going to get a price from him. I was going to email him a while back but he had a lot going on in his personal life and was taking some time off, so I have not contacted him yet. When I get the cash saved up, I am going to be speaking with several different places about port work, I have a list made up. I have already contaced AI and they are at the top of my list.
