Default 383 LT1 with Nitrous

Hey I just had my 383 LT1 built. Its is all forged with 4 bolt mains and i am having the stock Lt1 heads and manifold ported. I need suggestions on what camshaft to use. It will be a daily driver but will see alot of track time...and i want to spray a 200 shot (TNT). Also what will i need to do to the fuel system. Right now it is all stock. And i also was thinking about getting the MSD DIgital 6 Plus ignition..is this good for what I am trying to do? Also if there is anything else that i will need to do to my car please tell me. Thanks

MSD Dig 6+ or MSD 6AL will work great for an ignition. The 7AL also has the ability to retard timing (could eb useful on more nitrous)

I would run probably about 30-36 lb/hr injectors on your motor with a camshaft similar to a CC306, but with a little more lift.

Upgrade injectors, maybe an ajustable fuel pressure regulator, upgrade in-tank fuel pump. Get a custom ground cam, and just tell them you'd like a "nitrous" grind. They will "taylor" it,for more nitrous use(nitrous friendly)

Plenty of off the shelf grinds. Folks are having good results with the 236/242 / GM847 / GTP-6 type grinds and nitrous and they're great N/A.

The best would probably be to have your heads flowed after they're ported and get either a custom grind or an off the shelf that works well with your heads. You're going to want a fairly good sized cam to help flow those extra cubes....what seems radical on stock displacement will seem much more tame with your stroker.

Fuel system.....I'd just go with a walbro 255 or 340, stock lines and 36lb injectors will be fine. You plan on running a wet shot right?
