im buying a 48k mile motor...thing ran great until the car was totalled...im buying it for 800 bucks...and i want to do some work to it b4 i put it in....i was thinking of doing the more performance lt4 heads that r 2.02 1.60...a lt4 intake manifold...and then the CC306 cam....what do u guys think....ya i have 1.6 roller rockers too

or shold i go with smaller valves on the heads?????
all thoughts are appreciated

Wouldnt waist my time or money on the LT4 heads and Intake unless you get a great deal on them. These days a good porter and flow LT1 heads and Intake as good as LT4's in most cases.
306 is a decent cam, Ive had it.

thanks BRENTT94 soo i should look for a good flowing set of LT1's.....i was also wondering....what would be one of the best cams to run...u know most power maker....for my car...stock cubes...but going to be doing heads and fuel pump and injectors and a computer tune

GM847 is a good choice. Slightly bigger than a CC306.

i have heard from ppl that the GM 847 cam in very nice....i think i will try and go with that!!! and go with 2.02 1.60 valves....or would those be too big??
