Default Detonation! :bang:

I tune my own PCM and had my car running so great with the hotcam I made another program for a car with the stock tranny and stock gears (at the time my friend had 2.73s) for my buddies car, I used the same timing curve ( I have 11.5:1) as I run in my 94, and in his car it was detonating like crazy! what's the deal with that!

I have seen this a few times.

I try not to use generic tunes for this reason. I tune each car individualy. Simple things like different alternator output and missplaced grounds can make each car act totally different for each tune

A lot of things can affect timing that you can't see (timing chain with a kink, etc).

As twofast4lv said, tune each one at a time
