if you want somethin quicker than a stang get one. LT1's have great low end torque and it doesn't take much mods to wake them up. parts are cheaper than LS1 parts.

Actually selling my stang and going to an LT1 would be a step down from where I'm at now. But I just want to sell my cars and buy a pretty quick daily driver.

Just about everything you can do to any motor really. I really dont understand the question. If you not looking to soup up at all, then i would get an LS1 car. If your gonna mod then go with the LT1. If you have a lot of money then mod the LS1.

I like the fact that I can pick up an LT1 car for $4,500-$6,000. And the LS1's go anywhere from $8,500-$20,000.

IMO the m6, my a4 tranny gave up the ghost, and now the new one seems like it doesn't like traction too well.

The T56 is really a strong transmission. Heads and shoulders above the T5 tranny. The only real weakness is the aluminum shift forks which can be upgraded with steel.
